Ford Unveils Redesigned Expedition SUV for 2025 #

Ford Motor is set to launch a redesigned version of its large Expedition SUV, aiming to enhance its competitiveness in the growing full-size SUV market. The 2025 Ford Expedition is slated to arrive in dealerships next spring, featuring significant upgrades in refinement and technology.

The new three-row SUV boasts a sleeker interior and exterior design, improved comfort features, and advanced technology. Notable additions include a 24-inch driver display and the integration of Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system.

Ford’s approach to the redesign was heavily influenced by customer feedback, with the company focusing on making the vehicle more user-friendly for families and enhancing the overall driving experience.

While pricing details for the 2025 Expedition have not been released, the current models range from $55,000 to $84,000, with an average transaction price of approximately $70,000.

The redesign comes at a time of increased competition in the full-size SUV segment. While General Motors’ offerings like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, and GMC Yukon continue to lead the market, new entrants such as the Jeep Wagoneer and large three-row crossovers from Kia and Hyundai have expanded consumer choices.

Industry data shows that the mainstream full-size SUV segment has grown to represent 2.7% of the U.S. market this year, up from 2% in 2017. Sales in this segment reached approximately 312,500 units through September of this year.

The redesigned Expedition aims to capitalize on this market growth while addressing the increasing consumer interest in three-row crossovers, which have become popular alternatives to traditional full-size SUVs.
