Giorgia Villa: Italy's silver medal winning Olympian and her relationship with cheese

Giorgia Villa celebrated Italy’s first silver medal in women’s team gymnastics since 1928. Parmigiano Reggiano dominated the 2023 World Cheese Awards with 137 medals. The cheese has a Protected Designation of Origin status and can only be made within specific regions in Italy. Despite facing challenges such as imposters and earthquake damage, Parmigiano Reggiano remains a prized ingredient. Villa and her team, Le Fate, performed well alongside Team USA in the all-around final, earning them silver medals.
